1st Lady1Our First Lady, Cynthia was born and raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She spent a great deal of her time visiting extended family in Chicago, Illinois. It is there where she was introduced to the Lord. As a college student, she received Christ as her personal Lord and Savior at Trinity United Church of Christ in Chicago. She attended Trinity until she joined Christ the King Church in Milwaukee, in 1989.

She maintained a very active membership at Christ the King Church (CTK) for 15 years, as she served the Lord with a passion for learning and teaching. During her membership at CTK she served for 14 years as the Director of Communications which included publicity for church events and production and editing of the church newsletter. She also found time to serve as bible study teacher, new members instructor, choir member for both church and community choirs, and praise team member. She also served on or lead a number of other Christian committees and team projects and occasionally helped in the nursery.

As she filled her time serving God with diligence and faith, she still found time to meet and marry her husband, Pastor Ripton A. Stewart, whom she met in her early years at CTK. They have been blessed with a daughter and son,who also has a great love for the church and the people of God.

First Lady Cynthia is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee and has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Journalism. Writing is one of her passions and she has accumulated 20 years of writing and editing experience that includes community news reporting, newsletter development and more. She has also worked for over 20 years for a local Health Care System in the cities of Milwaukee and Mequon, Wisconsin where she has over 15 years of leadership experience in human resources, diversity and language services management.

She has always been motivated by a deep love for God and a desire to please and learn more of Him. She loves the work of the ministry and enjoys working alongside her husband in developing a faith filled, vision – focused ministry for Christ through Transformation Temple Christian Church. Her personal mission is to teach others how to “walk by faith” so they may live a victorious life in Christ. She is motivated by a consistent belief:

“I will use my God given talents and strengths to develop and maintain a life that is on purpose for Christ, spiritually, emotionally and physically, and filled with the joy that God has promised those who worship him. And if I can help someone avoid the mistakes I’ve made and repeat the successes that I’ve discovered then I might be able to make a difference in that person’s life. One’s ultimate success must be connected to their  divine faith and purpose in Christ. My personal mission is to study and know the Word of God so that I might rightfully divide the Word of Truth and help others realize their purpose and increase their faith.”
